Cooking should be fun! Whether a daily meal for yourself, a loved one, a friend, or family, the quality time spent preparing delicious food and sharing in it feeds the soul as well as the body. 

All of our cooking classes are PARTICIPATION! You will be working with the instructor and fellow students in the kitchen as you learn the techniques for preparing the items related to your class. Whether you are new to the kitchen or have years of experience, there is a class for you - to introduce you to a new type of cuisine, to learn the basics of being a good cook or to hone your cooking skills.

Our Kitchen Studio has everything you need to learn new techniques and expand your culinary horizons. Our workspace is professional, but approachable.

Chef Brian Ross has over 20 years of experience as a Chef and Culinary Instructor. A graduate of L'Academie de Cuisine, Chef Ross is well versed in all types of cooking and cuisines and is also an accomplished Baker and Pastry Chef. He came to Asheville in 2001 to be the Chef at The Richmond Hill Inn, then spent many years as a Chef at the Biltmore Estate Bistro as well as the Inn on Biltmore. He eventually opened DOUGH in 2013. HIs early career included positions at two Ritz Carlton properties - Naples, FL and Washington, DC - as well as the Lodge at Sedona in Arizona, and The Bailiwick Inn in Virginia. He was also the Head Culinary Instructor at L'Academie de Cuisine for 2 years.

Chef Ross is a dynamic instructor that will make sure you have fun in the kitchen as you learn!
