Join baker Emily Baron for an immersive class exploring the wonderful world of sourdough. In this three-hour class, you’ll learn the essentials for creating and maintaining a healthy sourdough starter as well as delicious ways to use up your sourdough starter “discard”; and you’ll hone your bread-making skills by learning how to mix, shape, score, and bake a loaf of delicious sourdough bread using locally milled flours.
This class includes a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread to take home, a jar of Emily’s 8-year old sourdough starter, and a dough for you to proof and bake at home the following day. There will also be plenty of sourdough-centric snacks for you to enjoy throughout class.
