Welcome spring with a little swirl! In this hands-on baking class, you’ll learn how to make a light, fluffy sponge cake that becomes the perfect canvas for sweet, seasonal fillings. We’ll cover essential techniques for avoiding cracks in your cake. We’ll prepare a softly whipped cream along with a bright lemon curd to roll inside the cake. You’ll also learn the fun technique of piping a decorative pattern onto the cake before baking, creating a beautiful patterned swiss roll that’s just as delightful to look at as it is to eat.
