Join Chef J Chong for a cozy, hands-on cooking experience that feels more like gathering in a friend’s kitchen than attending a class. Together, you’ll make one of J’s most beloved comfort dishes—Mapo Tofu—a recipe rooted in her Cantonese upbringing, her culinary journey, and her love for sharing food that brings people together.

J will guide you step-by-step, showing you how to build the deep, aromatic flavors that give mapo tofu its signature warmth and gentle heat. You’ll cook side-by-side, tasting as you go, learning how small details—how long to toast the spices, how to balance the sauce, how to treat the tofu with care—make all the difference.

To round out the meal, you’ll prepare Yu Choi, simply and beautifully. J will share the little techniques she uses at home to keep the greens vibrant, tender, and full of life.
