Join us for a delicious time at the Asheville Kitchen as we learn the art and tradition of making challah. She’ll walk you through her favorite recipe for a perfectly golden, feathery, slightly sweet challah while sharing some tips and tricks for customizing the dough to suit your tastes. You’ll then learn three different braiding techniques – including the impressive 6-strand braid – before braiding your very own challah. You’ll leave with both a loaf of challah that you baked in class and a ball of dough to braid and bake at home.

While we wait for our loaves to rise and bake, we’ll enjoy a generous sampling of challah, including one swirled with fig and orange zest.
