Meat loaf, collard greens, mac and cheese. You may have grown up eating these and love the nostalgic comfort of these dishes. But maybe now you’re looking for a more plant-forward alternative. In this class, we’ll transform three of the American classic comfort foods into dishes that are rooted in a plant-based approach, but taste just as delicious. Join us as we learn to make a creamy mac and ‘cheese’ with cashews, a meatloaf alternative using lentils, walnuts and mushrooms, and some tasty collard greens. You’ll leave feeling full and happy after this class with Chef Ava.
