BBQ 101: Smoke, Time, Temperature, Seasoning (Ribs) • Sunday, December 6th from 2–6:00pm

$130.00

with Adam Sheppard

Learn how to select cuts of meat for barbecuing, how to season, understand a smoker, and how to make decisions when cooking low and slow on the barbecue. In this class, Chef Adam will walk you through how to make ribs at home no matter what your outdoor kitchen set up is!

We will design a seasoning and sauce for the ribs, walk through a basic cook (times, temperatures, how to check for doneness), and lastly, enjoy a feast!

By the end of the class, students should feel confident in going to the store or butcher shop to select meat, how to season different types of meat, running a pit, understand the various points in the cooking process, when to pull the meat and rest it, build a basic vinegar sauce, and verify food safety.
