Our mozzarella making workshop is a hands-on culinary workshop where you learn the science and art of turning milk into fresh, stretchy cheese. First you will learn the basics of how enzymes and acids (like rennet and citric acid) cause milk to coagulate into firm curds. Next you will learn the techniques of heating, pulling, stretching, and folding the curds to achieve that signature smooth, milky mozzarella texture, leaving with your own homemade cheese to take home. We will make a flatbread and pesto to taste with the cheese as well. This is always a fun and delicious class and a great introduction to cheese making!
